Want to dianose a mazda rx8?

I have a 04 mazda rx8 and my check engine light is on and I wan't to hook it up to my code reader anybody know where the dignose plug is located?

Should be on the underside of the dash---drivers side or under the hood. Parts store guys may know if they perform that service.

I don't own a rx-8, but in most cars, its slightly above the pedals, to the left.
