no mine doesnt.... I will tell you why
I make a paste of water and baking soda and I scrub it on the walls of the microwave, let it set there, and then I clean it off. It soaks up all the nasty smells
also run the tray through the dishwasher

No, mine smells freshy clean. Just clean real good with a damp cloth, then wipe down with those Clorex wipes. You can put baking soda in a small bowl with water and bring to a boil. Let set overnight. Always make sure you get all the dampness out after you cook something and leave the door a bit open at night to air out.

no mine is 5 yrs old and smells like it did when I first purchased it. I clean the inside daily when I do my dishes, I also wipe down the outside at least once weekly with bleach solution.I also make sure there are no critters in my kitchen that can nest in the underside .

Mine only smells immediately after cooking something. However, the smell is gone when I clean it, which is after each use. Any spray cleaner will do. And wash the glass tray in dishwasher.

yeah it does. I think it because of the steam from whatever was warmed up. We tend to close it right after instead of airing it out and i guess the smell stays.

there are little animals that live in microwaves, what you are smelling is their poo. This smell occurs when the poo is left to ripen too long. Best bet is to clean the poo out once in a while and the smell will deminish over time.
