im not used to having a male mate in work. Anyways as my male friend in work asked me to lunch i returned the favour and asked him two weeks later. Is it ok to ask him to lunch again as i dont think hes the type to keep asking or is used to having someone to go lunch with. I do think he likes my company as he did ask if i wanted to go and look at his new flat when he moves in) . Im sorry i just dont know how to play these things and dont want him to think its a one off thing.

If you enjoyed having lunch with him, ask him. No sense in both of you eating alone.

Its never a good idea to date a colleague, but if he's just a mate and you're not interested in him romantically, then ask away and continue to enjoy each others company, everybody needs a good friend at work to brighten up their day a bit.

Don't send any mixed signal.....If both of you are single and he is interrested just keep saying NO - It's better for both of you.
