Queen. I don't think they would be AS successful just because it seems as though rap/hip-hop is more popular than rock these days. But I think they would be still successful.

Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, or The Ramones.
And honestly, even the Beatles, the most successful act of all time, wouldn't be as successful. With the creation of digital music, none of them can be successful, although The Ramones never were too successful.

Well my absolute favorite is Janis Joplin. She had soul, she had talant, she had beauty. I don't think she'd be popular today, because she isn't blonde, she did have some flaws, even though I find her very attractive. Flaws is what makes a person, and in my opinion she was the most beutiful person on the inside and out...too bad the modern society couldn't see that. Such talant would be lost if she was starting out today...

Yes-Prog rock was never THAT successful but in the 70's it was almost mainstream nowadays only a few people would have heard of them

Classic rock is timeless, so basically any classic rock band would be good now.

No, I really don't think they would because the sound has changed so much. AcDc might be semi successful but not nearly as much as they are now.
