I have Pentium D 2.8 ghz, 512 ram of 533, 80 GB hard disk, D946 Intel board. My Windows Vista rating is 2.9.

I have Pentium D 2.8 ghz, 512 ram of 533, 80 GB hard disk, D946 Intel board. My Windows Vista rating is 2.9. Can i install 512 more amount of RAM. total 1 GB. is this right.

nope and the rating should not bother u. the 4 and 5 ratings are the very high end puters. urs is fine. u might wanna add more memory. 512 is a little small for vista. goto 1 or 2 gigs.

Processor is fine, Hard drive will not make it go any higher.
Like a previous answer said, yes 4 and 5 ratings are high end PC's.
Maybe just upgrade your RAM to 1GB or 2?

A memory upgrade is much needed for Vista to run properly.
But I wouldn;t worry about the rating too much.
Unless you want to do intense graphics.
