Calling for his head??? Give me a break people. Things happen. It's not the coaches fault, it's the players. You can't win all the time... The only one who can do that is Roger Federer!

They won't be ranked number 5 by next week!
And it wasn't only a game. In today's college game, one loss means you're out of the national championship hunt. Michigan expects to win the title every year, and Lloyd Carr has been coming up short for a while now.
That's why people are calling for Carr's head. I'm not even a Michigan fan and I'm calling for his head.

# 5 was a preseason ranking. The rankings will be updated on Tuesday, due to there being a game on Monday night. Michigan won't be # 5 once the updated rankings come out!

actually, the ranking for michigan hasnt been changed yet. the number 5 rankingthey have was based on preseason analysis.
bet no one saw THAT LOSS coming.
there are a couple more games to be played today, and on tuesday the new rankings go up.
so i wouldnt be surprised if michigan is out of the top 25.
and if they still are, then everyone will know the BCS is a washed-up system.

Yea Lloyds washed up. If you can't beat Ohio State five years in a row, what good are you. They have the voodoo mentality now and they need something that can get them over that. A better team would be a start but that did't happen.

They havent changed the ranking yet. They will soon and Mich. will b like 20 somethin even tho ion think they should b ranked because they havent proven anything to the college football world.
