All assassins are murderers.
Not all murderers are assassins, as each murder performed by the murderer does not entail economic gain.
Also, Assassin is a career choice, while being a murderer may be a hobby, or an isolated act.
As to the difference between Blair and Bush, Blair negligently supported Bush's policy; Bush purposefully sent US soldiers to war/occupation.

Well in action they are both the same, they both mean the killing of a person ... but as a teacher ones explained: when a killing of an important person takes place the word assasin is used, if its not an important person then the the word murder is used. Hope the explanation helps.

Hello, Assassin could be a well paid professional 007 type smart, swath, well spoken and educated, table manners(don't lick his plate) not unlike (Tony in public). Murderer kills mentally ill people, makes collateral damage sound like his finger has torn through his toilet paper, takes on the roll of John Wayne when he walks,(does George fit the the bill).Difference would you buy a second hand car off either?

A MURDERER IS USUALLY A CRIME OF PASSION-SOMETHING GONE AWRY--TED BUNDY WAS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF THIS SERIAL KILLERS, KEVIN COE, THE HILLSIDE STANGLER, GREEN RIVER KILLER ETC THESE ARE MURDERS--USUALLY A CRIME OF PASSION OR MENTAL ILLNESS
AND ASSASIN IS A HIRED KILL-DONE FOR MONEY
AS TO TONY BLAIR AND GWB TIE IN I LEAVE THAT TO YOUR IMAGINATION AND THOUGHTS
WAR HAS AND WILL ALWAYS BE A PART OF SOCIETY--THERE IS MONEY IN WAR-BIG BUSINESS TO PRODUCE AND MAINTAIN AND SUPPORT A WAR OR CONFLICT--ONLY THE PUBLIC CAN SUSTAIN THE WAR OR CALL FOR IT'S END BY PETITIONING CONGRESS AND THE HOUSE OF REP TO STOP THE WAR. READ THE CONSTITUTION

a murderer is someone who kills a person, however an assassin is trained and hired by a person to kill someone else and is usually paid. however, you might like to look up some of japan's history and they used to have tribes who had assassins, and the assassins were not paid, they did it because they belonged to the tribe and it was simply a duty.
an assassin is a murderer, but a murderer is not an assassin!
