I know exactly what you mean, No matter what I've tried, we both end up soaked within a matter of minutes. I really don't think there is any way to avoid it. I do suggest getting a stroller. THat way your son can move around and not get too sweaty and you won't be as sweaty either. We just recently got a new carrier that is a back carrier, which will also help out with the sweating issue. You may want to look into one of those once he gets old enough/big enough. We found a great one for $40 at baby depot and he fits wonderfully in it and loves being able to look around everywhere. It's very lightweight, too. It's an evenflo snugli crossroads, by the way. I recommend it.

I think I'm half human, half lizard as it rarely gets too hot for me. I LOVE the summer! However when it really does get unbearable I have a cool shower and only half dry off, then wander around my flat starkers until I dry off totally. (I have good curtains, fortunately!!) Mint shower gel also makes you feel cool and zingy, and it smells nice too!
