Try your local county dump, but they may charge you. Your best bet is to find a company that buys metal and haul it to them. Not only will they take it off your hands, it might put some coin into your pocket.

Try Freecycle. Type in Freecycle and your City or State. Great organization for keeping usable itmes out of the landfills.

Try contacting you trash pick up company.or look in a telephone book under services you can call some one like we pick up and haul your unwanted items.
