I am thinking on getting an iPod nano silver , the kind i wanna buy ,it says it holds 2GB. How many songs can i hold on 2GB? if the songs are about 4 minutes each/

it can hold about 500 songs, but i would suggest getting the 4g bc it comes in prettyful colors LOL

It depends on several factors

The bitrate of the song (e.g 128kbs/256kbs)
Format the song are Mp3/aiff/acc

A 4mins mp3 songs at 128kbs takes about 4mb
But if you use apple compression software(itunes) (like aiff/acc), you are looking at about 3Mb.

go to apple.com or amazon.com
type in nano 2gb and read the info/reviews.
it will give you all the specs.
