Okay so i was doing crunches on my exercise ball on friday (four days ago) and my stomach hurts so bad. Did i do something wrong or is this soreness just normal because of doing the crunches. It is only sore when i sit up straight or if i lean back.

PLEASE HELP!!!

It could be soreness due to overextending your stomach muscles. I had a bad experience using an excercise ball for crunches, also. I stopped those and began doing the bicycle cruch. I've had wonderful results! You can see how it's done here: http://exercise.about.com/od/abs/ss/abexercises.htm

If the pain persists, I would go see the doctor just to rule out any serious muscle damage.

It sounds like you pulled a muscle. If you do more exercise than you usually do, that usually happens. Do exercises in stages. Dont worry, pulling a muscle isnt bad, it just hurts! It will gradually go away. If it doesnt, go to your docter.
Hope I helped!

It sounds like you pulled a muscle. Just take it easy for the next few days, and it should be fine.
