because my lesbian girlfriend doesn't want to be with me anymore unless I give up my gun

and ya know, I love the girlfriend BUT I also love the gun...it's almost like it's an extension of my body


what ever am I to do????

You have a second amendment right to protect yourself, some people would rather be mice in society. Keep the protection, find a gf who will shoot with you - it is possible

I am only guessing, but possibly protection is the core issue here. Possibly your gf feels it is her duty and right to protect you (and I'm sure you feel the same for her). The gun might be causing an imbalance in your relationship where you could perhaps be viewed as (demanding to be) holding a greater amount of the power.

How would you feel if she had the only gun in your relationship? If you feel fine - try to analyse why you feel that way and talk to your gf about your feelings for her with that in mind

Others have mentioned getting your gf involved with your interest - but if she remains adamant that the gun is the issue - you must make your choice alone. No-one else can make it for you.

Well if your gun is equally or more important than your girlfriend then you must not love your girlfriend. So you should just dump her now before the relationship goes on any longer.
