Hmmm, I guess #2 would be the closest, even though plain bad luck would be higher on the totem pole of answers.

They're only 3 games outta the wild card race and 5 games behind the Indians. They still control their own destiny.

There's so many strong teams in the AL this year. The AL Central has the toughest schedule I think, aside from the ChiSox who have been crappy lately, but still a decent team. The Indians and Twins we know can win. And the surprising Royals can contend with most of the AL elite when they're clicking.

It's the 3rd, not the 30th. They are 3 out of the WC. Get a grip!

Put the choke artist label on them in 3 weeks if they continue to grab 7 run leads and blow them.

How about (4) They play in the American league. Give them some credit. Playing the best teams in baseball night after night is not easy. I mean if they were in the National league, I'd say they sucked. Which the National league does suck.
