Open My Computer
right-click C:
click Format

An expert could probably resurrect information from the hard drive. If format is not good enough for you, the best you can do is invest in a program that will overwrite the HD.

This program says it will overwrite date 42 times.
Says it costs $15. (9/3/07)

Well the best you can do it reformat UNLESS you want to pay money to take it to a place that will make sure everything is completely off.
