Michigan's loss gave the rest of the top teams a wake up call not to take anyone on their schedule lightly.

Michigan was supposed to be the class of the Big 10. This shows how weak the Big 10, or rather Little 10, is. This year they are rated as the sixth (6th) strongest conference. That is pretty weak. That is even worse than last year.
They, the Big 10, are overrated perenially.

As an alumni of another big ten school all I have to say is What an embarrassment to the entire Big 10 Michigan is.

Yea this particular class is prone to talking a lot of smack. They did it againt OSU last year and got whooped. They may learn, I don't know. At least they should have learned from Ohio States example. Thery went into the Nat. Champ game against an obviously inferior team, took them for granted and got beat. I guess it happens way too much people getting ahead of theirselves and losing focus, but I don;t know how.

yes. well esp since i all heard from Michigan fans i know was how they where not only going to win the big ten, but the NC as well. Now i really don't have a beef with them, but i think they need to get the NC idea out of their head.

It almost appears they thought they had the win without really trying. They were already thinking they had won the Big 10 and were going to play for the national championship. Surprise!
