we all know that, the "friend" is really you, but in anyway, that's a fever blister, it very easily treatable, just keep some Abriva on it and it will heal. you can also try carmex. Both are affordable and are readily available at any local pharmacy.

also keep you hands off and don't try to pop it, that can cause to it to spread.

Happy healing...........

This is a cold sore or herpes, don't be alarmed, lots of people get them, cold sores are a form of herpes. Did your friend resently have a fever or a bad cold? did she get sunburned? dry chapped skin? Once you start getting them you will have them reoccuring for the rest of your life, just like regular herpes. But they are cause by one of the reasons above. Get in the habit of wearing lipgloss and lipstick, to help coat your lips. it is just good care for your lips. Once you notice a bump get some abreva, I find this to be the best. I've used everything for over 26 years and this is the best so far. I got my first one from getting a really bad sunburn and I caught a fever, and my lips broke out with sores. Now when ever I'm sick, or go out in the cold or extreme heat without protection on my lips I risk getting a blister.
One thing else your friend needs to be aware of, is when she had a blister, she cannot kiss anyone or have oral sex, because she can infect someone else, just like herpies.

A cold sore if maybe she just had a cold or a virus.
Just go to the store and get some cold sore medicine.

I think it's a Cold Sore.I wouldn't advise her using any creams or medicine that she is unsure of as they may cause even more of an infection, tell her to visit the doctor for more help.

This website has information and tips on it.

Hi- The start of a cold sore- get "Zovirax" from chemist- or pharmacy- great for clearing them- in future- tell her to use it when her lip starts to tingle- it will stop it developing- No Kissing- it is contagious- lv Jo xx

it's a type of herpes. it's either just a blister or something a little more serious. I suggest getting something from the drug store to help it go away or just go to the doctor they can tell you exactly and give you something strong enough to make it go away asap

it could be a cankor sore. they can be caused by stress of irritation. they can occur outside or inside the mouth. they are very painful. they have this product at wal-mart called cankor cover. it is very good. it is a patch that turns clear. one patch worn for 8 hours worked for me. then it was gone. hope this helps.
