Do something to attract attention, other than the lemonade. Have a clown act, dress in bathing suits, etc.

Location is key. If it is located where a lot people pass by but can also stop for the lemonade, they are more likely to. It also helps if it is blazing hot outside.

Set up near a park on a nice day where kids, their parents, dog owners, runners etc could be thirsty. Don't forget to have a complimentary dog bowl full of water for the dogs of some of your customers.

Set up a tip jar, and give back the wrong change by "accident" you'll be surprised how many people will let you short them without saying anything.
