My explaination for this has never really failed me before...
Men cheat because they are horny and their hormones block out morality sometimes.
Women cheat because of loving someone else and/or their need for affection/attention.
EDIT - Werewolfhooker, dont group all men together like that. I have never cheated on any girl I have been with, although I have been cheated on several times. But now I am with an amazing girl who I never thought I could be with, and other girls have tried to tempt me, but its not even hard for me to reject them because I have truly found the girl for me and I love her more everyday. so do not group all men together like that, not all men are the same.
But it isnt as bad when men cheat because it is just physical, not emotional, but it still hurts the same I am sure. so either way, it is fucked up. and a good amount of men will cheat on their girlfriends/wives until they find the right girl that makes them be able to turn down their hormones

Why do women not listen to what men really want?
I mean are these cheating men being pushed into something when they have communicated (probably) indirectly that it was not what they want.
Remember men know if they want a future with a particular women. Us women just have to listen to what they are saying. Actions speak louder than words.

To be truthful with you. The same reason women cheat on men. Usually it is because they are not truly happy with who they are with at that time. Some were raised in that situation with one or both of their parents cheating An some people are just naturally born cheaters.

Not all men cheat on women. And loads of women cheat on men. People who can't understand this type of nehaviour are the reason we still try and make contact with the opposite sex - there are loads of each who wouldn't dream of cheating. The trick is....finding them!

Because they feel its easier to cheat on women than on men. Especially when come to feeling and love, women are willing to give away anything as long as they think they can keep the men by their side.

Cheating is wrong no matter who does it. I hate this type of question because it ignores the fact that numerous studies show that women actually cheat slightly more than men nowadays. What a great accomplishment for women's lib.

Because they don't take responsibility for their own happiness and their own part in the marriage. They run to another to get whatever they are lacking in their marriage. They don't consider the consequences. They don't think they will get caught. They want instant gratification. They are immature, self-centered jerks. They want to feel special, feel attractive and add some excitement to their lives. They find it very exciting when their bags are on the curb and they lose the love of their life to some stupid fling. If they don't learn to get honest, take responsibility and make their family a priority, they just end up back in the same boat with the next wife. These traits are not limited to women.

i think that just one women isnt enough so they feel they have to try everything and can try get away with it. although women do it to men i know more case where men do it to women. but every situation is different some fall in love with 2 women, some just need to see wether they have made the right choice and other which are pigs just do it for the sake of more sex
