No excuses. Awful, Awful performance. I can't defend that team. I'm just left wondering if this is going to be the first Michigan team in my life time to finish under .500. I do find it interesting that people are still accusing Michigan fans of hiding when every Michigan fan I know of on this board has shown up this weekend. Theres enough true stuff to criticize Michigan on right now, no need to make stuff up.

As a Michigan fan, I am disappointed that Michigan took Appalachian State so easy. What I am proud of is the fact that we only lost by a field goal instead of getting blown out. Michigan played a two-time football champion and just because their not in our division doesn't mean they are a a bad team and that everyone in our division should be able to kick their ***.

My point is, is that this may seem to many as the most embarrassing loss, but its not. I would like to see how Ohio State, Florida, Texas, etc. would do against ASU!

Also, how come nobody went berserk and begin to taunt Oklahoma when they lost against Boise State? I thought Boise State was an easy team to beat, than why did a powerhouse like Oklahoma loose?

Blowouts, upsets, etc. happen all the time in sports. Its not the friggin end of the world, move on people.

And if you want to hate, than hate on Michigan! Point is ill stand by my team no matter what happens.

When Texas Western beat Kentucky in the NCAA finals for mens basketball, why didn't anyone else rub it in Kentucky's face?

Michigan thru and thru, ill stand by her forever!

GO MICHIGAN!

At least we didn't get beat 33-3 like Norte Dame did! HAHAHAHHAHA!

I'm not a Michigan fan but I'd suspect they simply looked past Appalachian State, were too over confident and got lazy. I also suspect they're going to be on fire the rest of the season. There's nothing like a little humble pie for inspiration.
Also the Michigan fans didn't lose the game, the team did, so let's do away with the shame bit.

it would be great if Mayweather can drop his new demands because of the fact he's familiar with that Mosley is by a great way larger draw than Joshua Clottey. As a fan, of path i choose this to ensue, yet with the hot words instituted by the two factors, of path it would make it lots extra problematic. I wish Mayweather wont attempt to apply the 60-40 split because of the fact the combat won't in any respect ensue. there's a nearer threat that Pacquaio consents to the random blood finding out all the thank you to the combat than the 60-40 split. Many Mayweather followers right here have reported 50-50 grew to become into positive for them while the negotiations have been occuring and a few of them even reported that the Mayweather vs Mosley would break information as much as 3 million buys, yet not lots of them reported previously that they choose Floyd to have a 60-40 split. So in the event that they alter their words, then they might lose slightly credibility. certainly, the nice and comfortable button is maximum Pacquiao followers and Mayweather followers discover 50-50 as even via sales. whilst i grew to become into inspired with Mayweather's a million.4 million buys, Pacquaio didnt do this undesirable against Cotto who bought a million.25 million buys and yet another a hundred and fifty,000 buys in Puerto Rico. it is not undesirable to agree on a 50-50 split, yet 60-40 is very almost asserting that I dont opt to combat you because of the fact the two factors wont budge in, because of the fact 60-40 is a collosal hollow. whether Manny have been the single which would ask for a 60-40 split, then i'd think of Manny basically doesnt opt to combat because of the fact he's familiar with Mayweather would under no circumstances enable that.

I hate to be that copy and paste guy....but this is what I think: I think they have a good team as far as talent, but what makes them sketchy (it hurts me to say this) is they appear to be a poorly coached team. I love Lloyd Carr but the man IS NOT and HAS NOT gotten it done. I think we can all agree that the current BIG10 is not the BIG10 of old where winning 8 games was impressive because they conference had 3 outstanding teams and 4-5 pretty good ones. The conference is not like that anymore. So when you are bringing in the type of talent that he brings in, and the expectations are what they are, you cannot be a sub .500 team in bowl games and lose 5 of 6 to your rival. They played the Buckeyes tough last season but they still lost!!! Lloyd Carr is the problem. They lost yesterday because they were over-confident, undisciplined, executed poorly and were not prepared. That is coaching people!!!

Yeah, Lloyd Carr will get all the blame for this travesty, but ultimately the players still have to take the field on game days.
What happened to UM recruiting the best atheletes the mid-west and beyond has to offer? Putting 32 points on the board should win most football games for any team. Oops, Unless your defense gives up 34. You could have the greatest coach and still lack execution by the players no matter how good u teach and train them.
I dont see them recovering from this devastating loss because not only does it take confidence, it also gives the rest of teams still left on their schedule plenty of game film to further exploit this under-acheiving defence...........

How bout you guys drop it. It happens. Michigan did not give Appalachian State enough credit, this was not your average I-AA team in the sense that they were confident and would not collapse like most I-AA teams.

You act as though this is embarrassing because some people will think that I-AA is better than I-A. Fact is, Appalachian State will be in the Sun Belt or the MAC in a few years and there will be no problem.

not everyone believed we were gunna crush them. I did not because i knew they had probably one of the fastest qbs in history and one of the fastest teams in the ncaa this year. if u look at michigans record against mobile quarterbacks they arent to bright....troy smith 0-2....they just dont have quite the defense to be able to stop a mobile qb.....im not saying i thought appalachian state would win i just thought it would be closer than most people thought......ASU would probably beat most of the MAC teams and probably atleats half of the big ten teams and some sec schools...so this should be an example that no one should overlook anyone

Not a Michigan fan but...

The perfect storm. The best small school in the country played an almost perfect game, blocking two kicks (including one in the waning minutes) to win by an extremely small margin against a Michigan team that was overrated by about 10 spots in the AP.

Come on Old School Go Blue... you give me a thumbs down after I gave you 10 points this morning??

Michigan fans are saying "drop it, we know we sucked"

If Ohio State lost to App. St. would you want to drop it?? For Ohio State fans and every college football fan (besides Michigan fans) this is like Christmas come early!!

I highly doubt Michigan fans would drop it is OSU lost.

FIGHT ON
