going to the built in oven and half to the wired in cook top, the stove would go in the same place , how do I do this? is there an adapter I need or how do I put the 2 lines back together and make an out let? what do I need? step by step instructions please

Make sure your power to the outlet is off. If you have 220 there, it's just a matter of changing the outlet. There are different ones for different stoves. Just look at the plug that is on the stove. Your outlet should have 4 wires. The red and black are the hot ones, the white is the neutral, the green is the ground. Just follow the directions on the box the new outlet comes in.

Getting zapped by 220 volts will leave a mark. I suggest a pro.

the 220 to the oven needs to stay if the oven is to be used again..if it's to be removed it's outlet should be, too...... . this is not a DIY deal... get a pro in to do this..........

Call an electrician for this job. It will not cost much and will be done correctly with no fire starting later.
