I have a 1991 Ford Aerostar Van. You may have seen my question posted yesterday looking for the relay switch well it was fine and weve been told to check the reset but its fine too and there is no fuse for the fuel pump. Do ya'll know what else it could be?The fuel pump is good it's been tested too.

there is a fuse for the fuel pump, all vehicles have this, other wise it would be dangerous, other than a bad fuse,it could be the pump its self bad on it,that's the only thing left to check, but all cars have a fuse for the pump good luck with it.

Some vehicles have a oil pressure cutoff switch for the fuel pump to prevent damaging the engine in case of a drop in oil pressure. Could be one in the fuel pump circuit on yours---not sure. Otherwise check for a fuse or bad power wire.

There is an emergency fuel cut off switch incase of an accident. Sometimes they trigger themsleves.
It usually is located under the passenger dash board but im not sure about the Aerostar. If you cant find it call the dealer parts department and they should be able to tell you where it is. Its kinda like a GFI breaker where you just have to reset it.

If you have no power getting to a device, always check your fuses and grounds first.

Then do split half techniques. Start where there is power in the circuit and work your way to the pump until the power stops. You just might find a loose connection, short to ground, etc.
