When did fire start? I don't know. 11,000 thousand years ago. I assume you mean 11 thousand years ago because 11,000 thousand years ago is 11 million years ago. The Pleistocene Epoch ended at this time. 65 million years ago was the end of the Cretaceous Period of the Mesozoic Era. 2.5 million years ago. I have do idea. The Pleistocene Epoch started 1.6 million years ago and 2.5 was in the Pliocene Epoch. 500,000 years ago might have been the start or end of the Kansasonian Stage or the Nebraskonian Stage, or the start of the Wisconsonian Stage of the Pleistocene Epoch.
