Super Bowl XII was the 12th championship game of the modern National Football League (NFL). The game was played on January 15, 1978 at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, the first Super Bowl played inside a domed stadium, following the 1977 regular season.

The National Football Conference (NFC) champion Dallas Cowboys (15-2) defeated the American Football Conference (AFC) champion Denver Broncos (14-3), 27–10. The Cowboys defensive team dominated most of the game, forcing 8 turnovers and allowing only 8 pass completions by the Broncos for just 61 passing yards.

He was born in Germany and one can only assume that he's lived there for his entire life. German is probably his first language, I don't even know whether he can speak Turkish or not. Hell, even his name is incredibly German where as Sahin's... well, obviously isn't. I can only assume that he sees himself as a German, so obviously, chose to play for the German national side. Edit: I guess that Sahin saw himself as being more Turkish. Maybe he thought that he'd have a better chance of playing for Turkey than he would playing for a world class team like Germany. Only they know the answer to your questions.
