I have searched the net for quite a while but cannot get away from the companies who just want you to switch to them and don't answer that simple question. I don't want to switch supplier I just want to know "What is the average charge per kilowatt hour for electricity (pre-pay meter) in England ?"

A 100 watt light bulb burning for 1 hour = 1 kilowatt. One week = 168 hours or 168 kilowatt-hours. 168 X 12 cents = $2.16.
