If Michigan does win the Big 10 is just shows how bad the Big 10 sucks. I think Wisconsin will win it.

Michigan is no walk in the park. The loss was a fluke, albeit a fluke on the level of greatest upset ever, but a fluke nonetheless. You sound like a Penn State fan but you can't honestly think they'll win the big ten. Michigan, Wisconsin, and Ohio State are all better football teams than Penn State. I'd be very surprised to see them win the conference.

Even without Michigans loss, Wisconsin would still have won the Big Ten. They are just a better team, pure and simple. Michigan is all offense, while Wisconsin is balanced. Ohio State is all Defense. All the teams are going to be good, but I think that loss puts a huge dent in Michigans "mojo" and the way they view this season. They should make short work of the young Notre Dame team, but still. Penn State, Wisconsin and Ohio State await them at the end of their schedule. They do have one thing going for them, they havent lost a division game. Yet.

Surprisingly, Michigan still may have a shot. Remember, it's early in the season. It's always better to lose in the beginning, you end up with better rankings if you lose early and win later.
But Michigan's only shot will be if they soundly (and I mean thump) Oregon, Notre Dame and Penn State. In order to do this, Lloyd Carr really needs to get on the ball and figure out what the hell his special teams and defense were doing. Offense isn't doing so bad, but the special teams is atrocious and the defense fell apart after Lamarr Woodley.
Wisconsin is going to be formidable this year. It's a little too early to be tooting the Penn State horn but JoePa could possibly pull off another Big 10 championship. Although in my opinion, it will be Wisconsin. Unless Michigan does a complete 180. But it's only Week 1. The season can turn with just one bad game.

MICHIGAN!
Reason being...offense and the defensive genius of Ron English. Just cause' they lost to ASU doesn't mean anything.
As for jloaccord, you idiot, Michigan football is a good program so don't start saying their not fit for an intermural team.
As a Michigan fan, I am disappointed that Michigan took Appalachian State so easy. What I am proud of is the fact that we only lost by a field goal instead of getting blown out. Michigan played a two-time football champion and just because their not in our division doesn't mean they are a a bad team and that everyone in our division should be able to kick their ***.
My point is, is that this may seem to many as the most embarrassing loss, but its not. I would like to see how Ohio State, Florida, Texas, etc. would do against ASU!
Also, how come nobody went berserk and begin to taunt Oklahoma when they lost against Boise State? I thought Boise State was an easy team to beat, than why did a powerhouse like Oklahoma loose?
Blowouts, upsets, etc. happen all the time in sports. Its not the friggin end of the world, move on people.
And if you want to hate, than hate on Michigan! Point is ill stand by my team no matter what happens.
When Texas Western beat Kentucky in the NCAA finals for mens basketball, why didn't anyone else rub it in Kentucky's face?
Michigan thru and thru, ill stand by her forever!
GO MICHIGAN!
At least we didn't get beat 33-3 like Norte Dame did! HAHAHAHHAHA!
To answer your question, Michigan has players like Mike Hart and Chad Henne that can step up and win games. Michigan will be back and their going to win the Big 10.

I think Penn State's going to win the Big 10, I think they've got the talent to do it this year. Michigan won't freefall, but they showed they weren't as tough as advertised. I'm not impressed by Ohio State (but wouldn't be suprised if they won it) and Wisconsin (another possiblity) seems to escape every year without having to play all of the other tough conference teams, yet still manages to lose at least one conference game.

Michigan will still win the Big Ten. Wisconsin and Ohio State will each lose two games this season and Michigan will win out. Despite the slow start Michigan will get rolling soon.
