People keep telling me there is but i don't know where to look on line & i cant get through to Citizens Advice. No info on their web site either.

there is still legislation that refers to employees who work night shift, these being shifts where a large percentage of your shift occurs between 11pm and 7am. Some employers voluntarily offer extra wages to allow for shift work and unsociable hours, but it is not mandatory.

at one time people di get extra money for what was called unsociable hours

but employees seem to have wangled out of this
as i do not believe people are getting extra pay for this

this is thanks to the minimum wage i believe
as employers now think that that is all they have to pay

that is also why so many people do not want to work as if they are on benefits they get more than the wages offered
