...every Christmas Eve my Mom always lit a huge Christmas candle in memory of all the loved ones who have gone before...my mother is gone now, too, so, I have continued on with this tradition...also, she used to call me Ka...my name is actually Karen Evelyn...but I go more by Evelyn, which was my screen name here as well, but lately, I started using the screen name, "Ka", in her memory...I miss her, deeply

Never use packet mixes, or compromise in the kitchen just to save a minute or two. Honestly, I love home cooking, which suits my wife just fine. I have amazing recipes in my head past down from my dear Mum. ♥? ♪♫ x

my mom made remarks about not wasting money on her when she's dead (because she couldn't enjoy them-she never liked flowers when she was alive she said they just die), she told me when her time comes buy something for my kids instead...so i do. the kids get a nice outfit or something like that. for memorial day, christmas, etc. i consider it from their grandma, not me.

I call my daughter "snooky".....that's what my mom used to call me. No matter how long she has been gone not a day does by that I don't miss her terribly =(
