You are looking at Theosophy, Brahmanism, Buddhism, to give you the results of long-term thought experiments.
The historical Buddha created concepts of space-time that far exceed the limits of this universe, but only to stretch the minds of some of his brilliant disciples to the point of overload. This was necessary for them to come to their sense and realize they could not solve everything through rational approaches.
