aggression isnt based on finnage. it just doesnt happen like that.

It is whatever you like, personally i like my OHM,but VTs and CTs are fine as well.

It is really your opinion, there is no tail-aggression relationship.

You are not at all overstocked and have plenty of room for a Betta in your tank. I personally don't feel that one tail type is more aggressive than another, but there are people that claim that crowntails are more aggressive. This is most likely just personal opinion from personal experiences rather than any true measure based on large numbers of fish observed.

I would say you are free to add either to your tank and just pick the betta that you like best.

you do have a lot of fish in your 10 gal but i will tell you what i know in my experience i have owned both types of Betta's you mentioned and the crown tail may be cooler it is more aggressive than the veil tail

I like crowntail more than veiltails, either of them will be OK for your tankmates.
