5 to 6 months is not long at all. Some people even try 2 years and more to get pregnant. You need to have sex every other day around your ovulation date. When? Count 10 days from the first day of your period. From the 10th day to the 20th you need to have sex on every other day. So, you have sex on the 10th day, 12th, 14th, 16th, 18th, and 20th. People say it is better to have sex in the morning because the sperm count is higher. I haven't tried that so I don't know whether it works or not. But there is nothing wrong with trying, right? Since you are trying to get pregnant, don't forget to take pre-natal vitamin everyday. Good luck!

Well just a few weeks ago you said having sex with your boyfriend caused you serious pain.
Does it have to hurt the next day youv had sex?

So there are two issues here. First of all, if you're having alot of pain during intercourse, you may need to get checked out by a doctor. This could be a problem.
Second of all, why are you TTC with a boyfriend AND a husband? Don't bring a child into the world that's going to be in the middle of a bad situation due to poor choices you made.

I agree with all the answers you have already gotten. Also, if you stress yourself out about it, it can cause you to be less able to conceive. Myself, I personally believe that is a big problem that many women have, they stress themselves out about it. So my advice to you...relax, and enjoy trying.
Best of Luck to You and Your Husband.
