i just got joint custody but i stiil pay chid support

Joint custody usually means that both parents will provide equally for the child. Whether that be time or money. I know a couple that has joint custody of their child, the child spends one week with one parent & then the next week with the other parent. However; the parent that earns the most money pays child support so both parents can provide equal living environments.

joint custody means you share parenting rights but you are not the custodial parent
you still have to pay, but you get to see them kiddies

Basically it meand you have a say so in the childs up bringing even though you dont have residential custodian status. You do have a say in schooling, medical, religion, etc but there is no guarantee that things will go your way though
