Because there are entirely too many differences among the peoples OF the world !!
For all that unites us -- there are easily thousands of things that seperate us -- in our various viewpoints, ethics, standards, religions, and governments !
As long as the world has these core, overbearing differences and powerful people at the heads OF these governments and
groups --- there will be war !!
