I think the Lions might be interested in him because he would fit their system perfectly and he is really good at throwing it deep, which he'd get to do often with Williams and Calvin Johnson. I could also see him going to the Falcons because obviously, they need a legit starting qb for the future. Leftwich could be their qb until vick comes back (if he comes back).

I would say the Lions, the Bears, the Buccaneers, and maybe even the Panthers would contend for his services because all of these teams have little to no stability at the QB position or need to groom a QB for the future. Kitna, Garcia, and Delhomme are all respective starters but all are getting old and someone needs to take over the reigns. Rex Grossman is Lovies QB but Byron might be brought in to get Rex more focused on keeping his job. I don't think Atlanta will make a move because I really do think they are settles on Harrington being their QB and know if they bring Leftwich in they will have a QB controversy from day one. Tampa is an outside shot because they already have four QB's on the roster; and I don't think Gruden will want to coach him. Panthers could be a real possibility because I don't know how many years Delhomme has got left.

Best bet: Lions. Kitna will be the starter but Leftwich can be groomed to succeed him in Mike Martz system. The other teams wouldn't want the controversy but in Detroit the heat wouldn't be as much because Kitna is still pretty good.

My superb wager could be KC. It sounds like Andrew Walter is the guy that the falcons are going to flow after. Up till final week i could've suggested Minn. yet they only signed Kelly Holcomb. Leftwich could be an improve over Huard or Brody in KC. If he is going to KC then he would be beginning by using week 4. The Chiefs want somebody to take some rigidity off LJ. dark horse crew's for him to flow to:Washington to back up Jason Campbell or the manhattan Giants who merely could no longer be offered on Eli and could have the worst backup in the league.

Who cares about Leftwich? I was trying to watch the Nebraska vs Nevada game on Saturday and the Huskers had an entire series with them talking about him instead of calling the game. So, I don't care where he goes.

to rose D-byron is NOT mobile. thats sort of why he got hurt-becuase he couldnt evade the tackles. just because hes a black QB doesnt make him mobile

and ravens are another. troy smith isnt nessecarly the answer after mcnair (i believe he may be tho) and bollar is gone after this year. they wouldnt suprise me to pickup byron. lions, vikes are others. falcons WONT-harrington fits that system almost perfectly and once he learns it he will be perfect in it.

either the vikings or the falcons. both of those teams are also trying to get Kelly Holcomb from the eagles. so whoever doesn't get Holcomb will probably get leftwich.

Probably none until next year b/c most QB battles are over & any qb needed for depth would have already been picked off of free agency or traded for.

The Vikings because they are stuck with Tarvaris Jackson, or the Falcons because Vick landed himself in jail.

the bears have to be thinking about it. Any improvement in that spot for the bears will go along way with that running game and defence to back him up. Rex was horrible and they were still NFC champs.

From what it I read on the yahoo rumors football blog, it looks like the Lions are the front runners to obtain his services.
