I think they will come out shooting on all cylinders trying to get the run & pass game going & will overwhelm the colts defense. they have way more weapons then the colts & their D-fense will hold up better also now that they are more experienced. The colts lost like 4 or 5 starters & they are too young. they may just go at merlin jackson b/c he's only a 2nd year player & they will flood his side.

My Opinion the Saints Still got it, this is a Team that will be Consistent and will win a Super Bowl maybe this year, but they will be the NFC Powerhouse this year as for the Game itself Saints will win 27 to 24, the game will be Close but just won the Super Bowl look at the Steelers Last Year after they won the Super Bowl Colts are going the Same Destructive Path this Year.

This is going to be a shootout.

I think there are three keys:

1. Special teams (Michigan proved to us last Saturday that you MUST BE SOUND IN THE KICKING GAME)

2. Saints Front seven vs Colts Offensive Line (if the saints can get to Manning, get in his face, then the secondary may not be under much pressure. but if the colts dominate this, they'll more than likely dominate the game)

3. Who has the ball last? That might be the deciding factor....I'm not joking.

Well I think they have a chance to beat the saints they are at home after all they can win this one I'm more concerned after that I mean the falcons killed them last time out and at home they however beat the bears on their home field and going back there this time out might not be good so beating the siants will mean losing to either the bears or falcons they have the byes and home field advantage over the seahawks need to be careful If they end up winning.

There will be a lot of points scored, that's for sure. I have a hard time believing that Peyton Manning won't be able to pick apart the Saints secondary (Fred Thomas is the worst cornerback in the NFL). Hopefully the front seven will be able to keep enough pressure on him to slow them down. That said, I'm cautiously optimistic for a Saints win.

Since the game is at Indianapolis, I'll take the Colts, but the Saints will make it close.

Do not underestimate the Saints, they overcame a great tragedy and came out of it a stronger team. It will be a good game and perhaps close in scoring, but I pick the Saints.

Nathan,

The Saints have put themselves in a place that if they do not win, you should be disappointed. Isn't that exciting for you? My team likely won't beat a team with a winning record this year.

WHAT A WAY TO OPEN UP THE NEW SEASON & AGAINST THE SUPER BOWL CHAMPS
SAINTS HAVE A GREAT TEAM BUT THEY WON'T SURPRISE ANYONE LIKE THEY DID LAST YEAR. SURE THEY'LL HAVE THEIR GREAT TREMENDOUS WINS & REGGIE REGGIE REGGIE WILL ACCOUNT FOR A COUPLE OF THOSE WINS.
THEIR HUGE GAMES WILL COME AGAINST CAROLINA IN WEEK 5 & 12.
AND THEY HAVE A TOUGH SCHEDULE. I SAY 11-5.
GO SAINTS !!!
