My spouse and I have been separated for over 3 years and are currently going through a divorce. Yesterday I found out he created a MySpace page with my pictures and information slandering me. I’ve contacted his command about this and his implications that he’s going to kill me but they’re not doing anything about it. I’ve spoken to JAG and they contacted his command but nothing has been done. My local PD says I don’t have enough for a restraining order. I don’t know what to do or who to talk to. Can someone please help me?

So he is military? I am suprised he has not gotten in trouble for this. I would say make a police report about the threat so that it is on file. If you really want to go further then you could always hire an attorney since JAG only gives advice. You could sue him for slander and harrassment. Post this question in the legal section as well and see what advice you get. What a jerk. Sadly I don't think you can do much right now. Good luck.

If it is on myspace, usually people wont do anything about this. Just ignore it all, and dont worry about it (or try not to). Bottom line is the ex is trying to get to you, and get you going. I went through something like this when my divorce was going on. Still after the divorce, he still does stuff. Now I just laugh it off. Not sure what State you are from (every state has different laws) but if you care to provide that, maybe I can help find out some information for you. Best of luck!

Sue him for slander, defamation of character and harassment in court. Collect whatever evidence you haveand set an amount for damages and let the courtstake it from there. Good luck

contact myspace & let them know that this is going on..go to the courts & put an order of harrassment on him... then ignore him, funny how that works the best..if he can not push ur buttons he will get over it.
