My sims pets....?

I dont know where my sims 2 pets is. Now i cant play sims at all! is there someway i can change that so i can play it? Should i go and buy another sims pets?

If your game is installed, you can buy a different expansion pack, install that, and play off of that CD. Just remember though, if you uninstall the game, you'll need your CD for Pets in order to install that expansion pack again. You always play with the CD for the most current game installed (the last game you installed on your computer, ie, Pets, Seasons).
