I was also 21 and dated a man that was 40. He happened to also be the owner of the bar I waitressed in back in the day and a friend of my uncles! No one knew we were seeing each other because we both wanted to see if it had potential before "coming out".
It didn't last- too many differences in ethics, but we remained friends and he even came to my wedding.

Not really a date....I had two older women (at different times) come on to me and wanted to have an intimate relationship (lasting only a couple of hours or so). They were in their 40's and I was around 18 for one and 20 for another. At the time, I always considered 40 as "pretty old" for a woman and too old for her to want to have sexual desires but, I was wrong.

I've pretty much never dated anyone my own age. I always end up dating women who are significantly older or younger. Don't know why.

The best relationship was with a woman who was 51 when I was 27. We had a blast. She was my best friend, and there was major chemistry.

Age is truly just a number.

My wife was older than me. My last g/f was older too as a matter of fact the last three g/fs were older. Hmmmm I think I see a pattern here....

Maybe it's time to look for some one who can keep up with me.

well my husband is 7 years older than me and we get along just fine. for some reason age doesn't really seem to make that big of a difference.

I was 26 and he was 48-twenty two years my senior, we got along great for about four or five years but I wanted something "stable" so we went our separate ways.

I like them younger personally. Or within a few years.
Biggest age difference for me?
Me=38
him=20
It was lots of fun, but he wasn't too bright. So that was that!
