Empathy is a quality and some times a curse. How much of anothers problems and pain can you absorb before your down to?

That would depend on what you mean. You should be more specific. Are you talking about empathy, or more toward the side of ESP?
As for me, Yes to the first and one in a while to the second

Did you mean "what others think" ? When I care about someone, I pay much attention to their behaviors so that I know whether they are happy or angry with me. With others I don't know, I don't care much.
If you meant "what others do", I would say ... yes, just sometimes, especially when someone staring at me that makes me feel unpleasant.

yes, the problem is, not everyone gets what I am feeling. I am not allowed to have emotions evidently or people claim I have the problem & not them
