If we define "world" as the planet Earth, then ,"yes", our world will end when our sun, currently a yellow dwarf star, becomes a red giant star in the inevitable life cycles of our star. When this happens the earth will become superheated, killing off all life; then , as the sun swells into even greater size, our star will engulf the Earth, absorbing our earth into it's great mass. Our Earth is currently about 20 galactic years old, and the red giant phase is about 35 galactic years into the future, perhaps even 40 galactic years. A galactic year is the time it takes our star to make one revolution around the galaxy, about 260 million solar years. If , one means by "world" the universe itself, then I think that the answer would still be "yes", because our universe is enbedded within the eternal Cosmic Substance of God's creative and created Nature. Since the universe is created, it must be come to an end at the conclusion of it's historical materialistic life. God, as the eternal Substance, has infinite energy and constantly produces Universes and anti-Universes. Since God's attributes are eternal, and all things flow from these attributes. There is nothing new under sun, as the Bible correctly states...hence we can be sure that our human speicies will spring forth under the same laws of evolution around other stars , in other universes. So that, in this sense, the "world" is endless, for it is reproduced from the "natura naturan" of an eternal Being, which is God Almighty.

Yes in about four to five billion years the sun will become a red giant. At that time the Earth's orbit will be inside the Sun. So yes at that time the world will end...... Eventually the sun will nova and phhht.... End of the solar system. Oh and you can take that prophecy to the bank unlike some.

When the sun expands to a 'red giant' start it will 'swallow' the earth as it will become so big that the earth's orbit would be inside the sun itself. However we would all have died by then. This is because as the sun gets bigger, the planet will get hotter, so hot that all humans and most other animals will suffocate.

The great concern is when will my life End. How the Universe would change is not really a great concern at this time of the present.

Yes, as Centretek said, in approx. 5 billion years, unless of course we get wiped out by a planet killing asteroid first.

Eventually, yes.
But you needn't worry about it, it will be a very long time in the future-unless we manage to destroy it first of course.
