I know it's a little early to be thinking. But I like to try the recipe a few times first. I don't really like desserts with a lots of raisins, sultanas.

Thanks in advance

How about a chocolate peppermint trifle? I layer chocolate cake (or brownies), whipped cream mixed with a little peppermint and chocolate pudding. yummy and festive. top layer should be all whipped cream with peppermint pieces to decorate

I don't know how it's called in English, it's some sort of cake, it's made traditionally for Christmas, it's somewhat like the panettone that the Italians bake but it's better. If you want the recipe, here's one:

You don't necessarily have to put the raisins in it, you can put something else like the Turkish marshmallow, or walnuts(I like it better with lokum and walnuts - you have to smash them and mix them with sugar and cocoa).
I hope it will work.

we always have something to remind us of the summer past. Strawberry Shortcake. If strawberries are still in season where you are, buy some, then slice them, add a little sugar and freeze them. Come Christmas day you'll have something special to remember the warmth of summer.

I like the traditional pumkin pies but I also like chocolate French silk pie. I always make a minced meat pie but that has raisins so I don't think you would like it.
