Hey I have exactly the same problem as u!! wat I use to keep me awake in the mornings is coffee…it’s the best way and the only thing I’ll use to keep me alert…I’ve tried all the other “natural” things that ppl have said…and it doesn’t work! Coffee is the ONLY thing that works for me and it’s the most natural…if u take caffeine pills, it can be extremely dangerous…so don’t touch any kinds of caffeine pills…but one cup of coffee should be fine! So here’s the ingredients that I use: I go to bed around 10 pm and then get up at 5 in the mornings…so even if u cant sleep just read a book or stay in bed until u sleep coz that’s the only way to re-train urself to sleep at a certain time…I had exactly that same problem and I couldn’t sleep so I just stayed in bed and read a book and eventually I went to sleep…it wont take long…it’ll only take like 2 or 3 days and u’ll get back to the habit again…and then when u get up at 5, get a cup and fill it up about halfway and then put a tablespoon of sugar and a tablespoon of coffee…then stir it up (don’t use milk…coz milk will make to sleepy!!) and drink it...thats how I have my coffee in the mornings…lol…it works so well for keeping me alert to study!! Hope this helps!

Unfortunately, so many like you have to re-learn their sleeping and wake patterns to fit their new schedule. I am a teacher and I know how you feel. I am at the point where I try to go to bed no later than 9:00 every night - regardless of the summer time. It's too late to try and do anything about your situation other than to force your body to behave. Do what you normally do - only this time add reading to the end of your day. Take a nice long, relaxing bath and try to get in bed at a decent hour. You might wake up through the night because of your sleeping pattern, but don't entertain getting out of bed. Tell yourself a story in your head, or list the things you need to do one by one - (it's like counting sheep only you have a real purpose instead). You should be able to fall back to sleep. Continue going to bed at nine or whatever you consider a decent hour and your body will eventually 'time' itself out. Stay away from sleep aid products. You don't want to get dependant upon any of those for any reason.

Eat an apple. Fresh apples are one of the best sources of energy. Also, when you wake up in the morning for school, eat another one, it'll help keep your energy up throughout the day better than caffeine or sugar, and it won't give you the ultimate low that caffeine and sugar do once they are out of your system.
Hope this helps. :-)

i think you should first go to the doctor about your problem with your poor sleeping habits. however, for the time being, i think you could try hoodia, green tea supplements, take 3 or 4 they seem to keep me awake. i hope my answer helps
