Be grateful for the fact that we can go on holiday, when other people don't even have a home to go to.
Find strength in our souls and enjoy the daily things that we take for granted.
When we are healthy and well a holiday can be a day in the park
or a night in a cosy pub next to the fire.
Every morning we rise is a gift to be enjoyed and cherished gratefully.

There's a lot of people moaning here but I will repeat some of what I think is the good advice, and its not only good for beating holiday blues, its good for everyone.
Do something you wouldn't normally do, it doesn't have to be drastic; getting off the bus a stop earlier, buying yourself flowers (even if you're a guy), having a walk or coffee after work instead of rushing away - anything will help.
Hope this helps.

Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, then everyday is like a Holiday because Jesus will put a joy in your heart that lasts for eternity, You may have bad days, but you know that Christ is always watching over you and that nothing can happen to you because he is God, creator of the universe and everything in it, Just say this Prayer believing, Dear Jesus, I just ask you right now to come into my heart and save me. I believe you are the son of God and that you came to earth to die on a cross as a perfect sacrifice for my sins, I believe you rose from the grave the third day to wash away my sins, I confess and admit right now that I am a sinner in need of a Saviour, I Pray this believing in myJesus'name,Amen. If you said this Prayer with a sincere heart believing you now have been born again into the Kingdom of God. Praise the Lord, now get a Bible and start reading, find a Church and start praising God with other believers. If you have any ?? just send me an email. Its a great day in the Lord, Amen, Stay on a Holiday with Jesus, it brings a smile to my life everyday, Amen

Book another holiday straight away to give you something to look forward to. I NEVER want to come back when I've been away but when I do I try to carry on the lifestyle by cooking the meals I've enjoyed and drinking the wine. I always repack my case once the washing and ironing is done in preparation for my next trip.

Post-holiday blues? Aw poor them. I haven't had a holiday in 4 years and won't be having one until at least 2009! Some people don't know how lucky they are so I have no sympathy. Not saying they don't deserve a holiday but to complain about post-holiday blues is absurd. My family and I work hard but the cost of living stops us from affording a holiday. Funny how my neighbour who is on benefits had one though? Strange how this country works.....

Try incorporating a bit of the holiday spirit into your regular routine. Do something you wouldn't normally do in the weekday or just try something new.
Perhaps enrol in a French or Spanish class or if you don't like to go out on 'school nights' try organising a night out with your mates.

Ive just come back from Torquay i have never felt so down in all my life! The best things to do is to realise that if we were always on holiday we wouldnt appreciate the ones we do have! Concentrate on something like work , or redecorating the house to keep your self busy! x

When I did work, always used to tell myself, that without the daily grind I wouldn`t be able to afford the good time I had just had on holiday.
