= 3 x 24 /2 + 6 x 4^2/3
= 72/2 + 24^2/3
= 36 + 192
= 228

3[16 + 8]/2 + 6[12 - 8]^2/3 =
3[24]/2 + 6 [4]^2/3 =
36 + 6(4)^2/3 =
(since 36 = 9*4 = 3^2 * 2^2 and 6 = 3*2 and 4^2/3 = 2^4/3)
(2)^2 (3)^2 + (3)(2)(2)^4/3 =
(2)^2 (3)^2 + (3)(2)^2(2)^1/3 =
(2)^2 (3) [3 + 2^1/3] =
12[3 + (2)^1/3]

Only the {8-4}^2/3 not {6(12-8)}^2/3
