Usually, my first thought is: I hope it isn't time to get up yet! I'm a night owl and just can't understand how people can be so cheerful and energetic about waking up!
Leap out of bed, grinning? Never!
Sing and dance through a healthy breakfast? Uh-uh. Not me. It takes me a few hours to even want breakfast!
Keep thinking about that fantastic dream I was having before I had to open my eyes ... where was it going? What happens next? etc.
Body is moving on auto-pilot, but mind continues to snooze ...
What are you doing in Italy? Sounds like you're loving it!

Lol! "Which way to the toilet?" It's like a routine to me. As soon as my feet touch the floor I head straight to the bathroom for a wee, even if I don't need to go. On a few occasions I've been in a zombie-like state and only actually woken up in the bathroom!
