INternet speed - no difference.
You would be able to open larger files and see more images quicker.

RAM is only there to help the processor load more programs or handle more files.
It will not make downloads faster, nor will it improve the speed of your system.
It will bring stability to your computer (especially after a new installation) The system will use less Virtual Memory (it's slower than RAM - actual memory).
Items stored in the RAM are faster to access than from the hard drive or even an external hard drive.

Most of the time it will make little difference. The benefits will show if you are doing edits on big photographs, or many smaller ones at the same time, or if you have several programs say word, excel, and the internet open at the same time. It may also help a little if your pc is slowed down by say Norton Internet security. I get along just fine with only 512

your PC will run smoother and run faster when using applications and games. will open big documents and files faster. will make copying, moving and pasting files quicker as the PC can fit more in its memory before putting someplace else.
it wont make too much difference to internet speed, but you will see a marked difference in how fast the game runs online when loading diff screens etc...but this is also determined with the internet speed so isnt guaranteed.

Youd be able to mutli-task better. Loading webpages is mostly determined by your internet connection so you won't see any difference if you are only doing one webpage. If you run more and more webpages at the same time that gets into multi-tasking where the added ram might help.

things would load faster, you would be able to do more at the same time, you wouldn't see the delays in things starting up as you do now.
