that's stupid! it would be really black at night! and we would be hit by more asteroids!

it would come back.

think about it. you apply an impulse with a bat changing its orbital speed, unless you course correct it when it gets to Neptune, it will swing back to intersect the orbit of the earth.

aphosis asteroid is about the size of a Chevy and has people wetting their pants, you want to have us visited by something 2000 mi in diameter?

are you kidding me the moon is awesome you never kissed a girl under a full moon. what about wherewolves they can never transform. the oceans would not have waves. rivers would dry up.

on second thought it would be fun to just crack it one time maybe
