i still cant stand my roomate, whenever she is near me i get annoyed. when i came back in last night she said she was going out which i didnt care and i didnt care what tiime she came home either but when she did get home it was 1:30ish and she was acting weird i decided to go to bed. she was over by the door and kept unlocking and locking one of the locks a bunch times and was laughing about it. then she came and got something out of i think the fridge and went over by the bathroom and was doing something making noise then she was doing something else but i didnt know what. then she went to bed and left all the lights on. i want to switch roomates because she just always annoys me with her presence, shes 3 years older than me and i just overall dont like her. what should i do?

If you are in a dorm situation at school, go and talk to your residential advisor. Most colleges and universities have a date just a few weeks after the beginning of each semester when students can choose to move to another room, especially if they are in an uncomfortable situation like yours.
Good luck!

Your answer seems so simple: find another roommate. (Because for someone whose comings and goings you profess to not care about, you pretty much had her entire itinerary of activity down to a science. I wonder, had you noticed that irony yourself?) Anyway, it's obvious you don't like having her around, so you should distance yourself as soon as financially practical. Choose wisely in the future when getting roommates so this doesn't happen again.

You may want to switch roommates, but the best solution is to call the cops or a mental institution or sumthing that your roommate is experiencing a serious state of schizophrenia... That will kick her out of the room for good.

well if you have the option to change then i would say do it a.s.a.p, you don't need that type of behavior going on.. you need all the sleep and quiet time you can get so you can focus on your school work.. tell them your there to learn and she's just making it harder on you.. other then that i dont' know what else to say besides i feel sorry for you.. she sounds like a weirdo! good luck!

You should let her know that you are wanting to move, and that she will need to find a new place cause you are going to give notice, then find a new place, with a different roommate!

Well, initially you can talk it over and let her know how you feel. If she continues with this annoying behaviour, then you should get yourself a nother room-mate
