I usually swear and then get on with what i am doing. Later on I will notice a bruise or cut and wonder where the Hell that came from.

It depends what sort of pain it is and if anyone's around.. I'll swear on my own, and I'll grin and bear it most of the time if anyone's around (except for that searing pain that comes as a shock when tears come before you can hide it)

I NEVER swear.
It depends how I've hurt myself
If it's a burn or a scald, I always say that I speak Japanese. I shake the affected part and declare "Ahhh, so hot, so hot, so hot." very quickly with an oriental accent for some reason.
If I stub my toe or bang my hand etc (a dull thud type of thing); I say "Ooyah."
If I stab myself (when sewing .... pause for hysterical laughter ... etc), the expression of pain is "Ooo, that's sharp."
If I get wacked in the face (quite likely in my job) ... it's "Oooof!"

If I am by myself I cuss and swear and scream. If I am around women or children I just grin and bear it.

It kinda depends on what just happened.
Smash hand in car door: cry
Drop 2x6 lumber on foot: swear
Pulverize thumb with hammer: grin and bear it.
