why men have so much ego in them?

some men have so much ego in them . they think they r always right and they gave their ego the first priority than any thing else whether it may be an impt. relationship also.How can one stop a man to be so egoed nature?

A single word or tone or facial expression can send a man into a hole so deep you’d have better luck finding Osama. A man’s ego is vulnerable, especially (but not exclusively) to a woman he finds value in, such that he could be crushed, even by accident. Crushed meaning he gets into a rut wherein he never accesses his emotions.

The very same ego that could be crushed by the tone of a woman’s voice, can also drive the man perform some of the most heroic, selfless, and bordering on miraculous acts ever imagined. It is this same ego that when faced with peril, impossibility, or certain doom, says, “Like Hell…” and runs into the flames.

The complexity comes when trying to understand how to deal with this incredibly powerful and sensitive force called the male ego. This has mystified women for centuries, and I suggest will continue to for centuries to come. It’s not as mystifying to the men themselves. It’s not that they have themselves figured out, but it is harder to know that there is mystery when you are the mystery.

I'll probably be the only guy to tell you this so consider youself fortunate. Also, through out history, man or the male gender has been the hunter, worrior, the sole provider and the dominating figure head you have seen. And in the past few years you have seen the opposite sex (women) becoming more self reliant and doing the things men has been doing for thousands of years in a time span of 2 hundred and plus years. So saing that, think about this example; You have been working in an office for 10 years now and suddently a rookie comes in and you see him/her taking your place and possibly risking your possition in your job (getting fired). You can't help but feel a lilttle threaten.

Just look at politics, men's involvment in politics date back to 300 b.c. in the Roman Republic, and has been responsible for key factors, such as the rule of the land and the welfare of the people, quite a large task. Now, not so long ago, in 1848 women gained an opportunity to participate in politics by voting. And just now we are facing the possibility of having a woman rulling the free world, such a gigantic step for the women's movement. As just as women has progressed in the 21st century and became more independent, some guys has evolved and has accepted the female gender as an equal in abilities. Contrasting that of guys who has been stuck in a time warp and still see women as a subserviant, stay-at-home mom and having difficulty grasping the idea that women are just as able to do things men do.

Of course you'll have some that argue, those still ignorant and stagnant in current affairs. And still argue that all is a lie, but subconciencely still see women as an undominating, impotent, and unwilling being, needing a man to tell them what to do. I am not one of those guys. Personally, I find it attractive in a woman who can stand up to me or equal me in the things I do like pounding 40oz of beer like there is no tomorrow, plus dominating women in the sack is very fun. I like women who take intiative in the bed and enjoy being rough.

You really can't. I know what your saying, and I agree with you that a person having too much ego is a problem. But...as a guy I can say that you will turn more women off by not having enough ego than you will by having too much.

Threaten to leave, and do it, and if he caves in, he's learned his lesson. If he doesn't, you don't need an egoistical jerk for a boyfriend who cares more about his ego than you.

It's the inherent nature of the creature and, as such, cannot be modified by external means. But, the creature can (and does) evolve naturally, therefore that tendency can be modified subject to his own efforts and insights.

You can't. It's their way of compensating their insecurities. Most of them will never grow out of it. It dirves me nuts, becuase we don't really care wether they are right or not, but they make such a big deal out of it.
