I've been told several different methods in cutting startings off of my philodendron plant. One person says to cut off at least three nodes down from leaf, another says to cut where leaf branches off and set it in water until roots start producing from it. If I make cut between nodes, does it matter where the cut is made as far as being right above, below, or in between nodes? And should I set them in glass of water, until they produce roots?

A cutting 4-6" will do. The nodes are easilly seen (located where leaf is on stem.) You only need one or two in water in order to start new ones. Very easy. Will even root on moist dirt. Want some of mine?
